The charm of Old Town La Quinta and its merchants helped out Guide Dogs of the Desert on the Event Lawn at Old Town La Quinta 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, with many desert locals enjoying an evening of lively conversation wine, hors d'oeuvres and happy canine companions.

Helping People Hear Again was founded by Francoise Rhodes, owner/producer and host of “Traveling With Francoise” on Newstalk 920 KPSI. The Best Coachella Valley Has to Offer!

Once again the Palm Desert Chamber of Commerce Annual Table Top Expo went off without a hitch, there were a total of 69 businesses and 76 booths who all had a chance to strut their stuff and show the residents of and visitors to the Coachella Valley what they have to offer. There were even four additional tables set up for silent auction items.

Santa and Mrs Claus made a special appearance at the Boys & Girls Club of Desert Hot Springs on Saturday, December 13. The teens of the Keystone Club helped organize a wonderful community outreach meal and gift presentation for children ages infant to 10 and their families. They served delicious tamales and posole, beverages and desserts to the more than 100 kids and parents who attended this uplifting event.
