With a Sun/Moon conjunction in Cancer, in the 10th house in an exact opposition with Pluto in Capricorn, this is the New Moon to risk a full-hearted, active surrender into fearless compassion for self and others. Cancer rules the power of the archetypal feminine. The opposition from Pluto in the 4th house requires an honest appraisal of our own emotional agendas and desire for power. It’s the perfect time to open the channel to inner wisdom and self-knowing. The New Moon-Pluto opposition will also amplify emotional intensity, especially with the Moon at perigee (closest to the earth).

Another notable feature of this opposition is that while Cancer is the archetypal sign of the Mother, Capricorn, its polar opposite, is the archetype for the Father.
